Back home, I was just one in a million. One in sixty-eight million, to be precise. I wasn't born on a planet circling a red sun, sent in a rocketship just before it exploded. I didn't swear vengeance on the criminal underworld in the worst city on the continent. I wasn't shaped from clay and given life through divine power, and weapons from the gods of Olympus. I did get to enjoy the powers that were bestowed on me out of desperation, if only they hadn't completely upended my life.
The only question is, now... what's with this golden guy flying around like Superman usually does?
