Reincarnated in another world with a new power is a concept that has been around for a while, and that Lily had considered amusing at first, but easily overdone and spawning a whole lot of sub-genres based on how things would turn out. She considered them amusement and entertaining tales to read after a long day at work. She never expected to actually live out one such tale, let alone one where she found herself trapped in Brockton Bay, and with a power that she wasn't really sure would keep her safe from the things that were wrong with the world, at least at the beginning.
